I’m going to start working out tomorrow and keeping a food journal. My goal is to lose almost 100 lbs. Sounds drastic, but my goal weight is a healthy one. I’m going to start running because I want to be able to run a 5k with my brother this summer. I will also be doing the Bikini Burn routine from TumblrGym as well as yoga and attempting to learn Kpop dances. (I chose this last one because I’m a loser who thinks this will be entertaining as well as a beneficial way to exercise.) Whatever…don’t judge.
Sounds like a lot because I guess it is, but I’ve got a lot of work to do if I want to reach my goal weight. Ideally I’d like to be at least half way to my goal by this time next year. I really don’t want to leave for Korea overweight. I will just need to stay motivated throughout student teaching when the last thing I’m going to want to do after a full day at school is come home and workout. This past semester, my routine during my unit was to teach all day, come home and nap, then eat a late dinner and do homework. Not exactly the best plan…
I’m confident I can do this though. Hell, I’ve kept my room clean for a week straight, so that in and of itself is pretty damn impressive. It shows I mean business about this whole “life betterment thing regime.”
